This week, your child learned about David and Goliath from the book of 1 Samuel 17. In this story, God’s people, the Israelites, faced a giant named Goliath and felt scared, but David trusted that God would give them victory. With just a sling and a few stones, God worked through David to defeat Goliath, showing us that we can always trust Him. When challenges arise, we can remember that God loves us and is always with us, inviting us into His family.
