K-2nd Grade
This week, we learned about Jesus forgiving the thief on the cross from Luke 23:39–43. In this story, we see how Jesus offers forgiveness to anyone who believes and confesses that He is Lord and Savior.
We discovered that Jesus forgives us completely, no matter what we have done, because He loves us. This teaches us that we can also forgive others just as Jesus forgives us. God's love invites anyone to receive His forgiveness and surrender to a relationship with God through Jesus.
The Point: Every Day, We Choose Who We Will Listen To, What the World Says or What God Says.
