PRICELESS | I AM UNIQUELY DESIGNED
This week, we learned about how God called Samuel by name from 1 Samuel 3. We discovered that just like Samuel, our names matter to God because He uniquely designed each of us.
In this story, God speaks to Samuel, showing him that he is important and has a special purpose. We learned that God knows our names and that we are never invisible or alone; He sees, knows, and loves us deeply.
God's love is available to anyone, and we can find comfort in knowing that we matter to Him. This means that our names are priceless to God, and He invites us into a relationship with Him.
The Point: My Name Matters To God
Family Memory Verse: "For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." – Romans 10:13
Q1: What does it mean to you that God knows your name and has a special purpose for you?
Allow your child to answer. If needed, direct them back to the truth that they are important to God and that He has a plan for their lives.
Q2: Who is someone in your life that you can remind that they matter to God?
Ask your child to be specific about a friend or family member whom they can tell about God's love and their importance to God.
