This week, your child learned how God sent Jesus to rescue us from Matthew 26-28, Mark 15:33-16:8, Luke 23:44-24:12, and John 19.

They discovered the amazing truth that Jesus died on the cross for our sin and rose again, showing His power over sin and death.

This true story teaches us that Jesus took the punishment we deserved and made a way for us to have a relationship with God. Your child learned that the empty tomb is a powerful reminder of God’s love and the rescue He offers to anyone who comes to Him.

This Easter we celebrate that through Jesus, we can experience forgiveness for our sin and be welcomed into God's family. The cross is an incredible act of love that invites us to live for Him and share the good news of His death and resurrection with others!
