Next Up | I Am Designed For A Purpose
This week, we learned about trusting God from Matthew 6:25-34. Jesus taught us not to worry and reminded us that God cares for us deeply.
In this passage, Jesus explained how God provides for the birds and the flowers, showing that He will take care of us even more. We learned that instead of worrying, we can choose to trust in God's love and provision for our lives.
God loves us so much that He sent Jesus to demonstrate His care and faithfulness. This means we can always trust God with our present and future, knowing He has a perfect plan for us.
The Point: Let’s Trust Like Jesus
Family Memory Verse: "Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." – Matthew 5:16b
Q1: What are some things you worry about, and how can trusting God help you with those worries?
You might say that trusting God helps you remember He is in control and cares for you, so you don’t need to worry.
Q2: How did Jesus show us His care and faithfulness?
Jesus showed us how the birds and flowers are cared for by God. He showed us how much He cares and loves us by completing the rescue mission God sent Him to the earth to complete. He died on the cross to take the punishment for our sins and rose again three days later so that we could have a relationship with Him, now and forever.
